The Lathrop-Manteca Firefighters are saddened to hear of the tragic death and injury to our fellow firefighters of the LACoFD.  Our prayers are with the families involved and hope some light will be shed on this tragic event.  We wish for a speedy recovery to the LACoFD Captain who was injured, and ask that you support the families that are mourning.  As firefighters, we take pride to serving our communities and are face tragedy on a daily basis.  It is a reminder that we are not immune to these tragedies.  The LACoFD has activated their PEER Support Teams which assist firefighters and their families dealing with stresses associated with their occupations.  As the investigation continues and details immerge we will have a better understanding of the events leading up to this tragic day.   May God bless all.
